Idioms - An Essential Part of your English Education

When it comes to English, the grammar itself is quite manageable.  There are two things that are hard for non-native speakers;  the first is pronunciation; and then, there are idioms.  Hundreds of expressions, verbs with prepositions added to them that completely change the meaning of the verb.  Also known as phrasal verbs, these little expressions require a lot of practice to be memorized, and they are essential.  So, without further ado, below you will find the most essential phrasal verbs, divided in groups for easier assimilation.  I highly suggest studying no more than one lesson a week.  Come back to it everyday, practice them until they are an easily-accessible part of your vocabulary.
